Humor is an intricate cognitive function that often leads to laughter. The first comedy can be traced to the Sumerians in 1900 BC, a fart joke. Plato & Aristotle have studied humor and even to this day it remains multilayered.
If you've been alive between 2000 and present day, you've witnessed that comedy evolved more than ever in history. From: stand up, festivals, Youtube, Vine, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Tiktok?, and Neflix specials. The comedian journey is a rough one, you'd assume these platforms make it easier.. wrong. Comedians face demonetization, favoritism, and limitations. Comedy lost its roots of favoring original content and let comedians be themselves. Enter Reesa, a comedy technology platform for 18 and over. We will use our technology to make comedy what it should be.

No dancing tweens, no favoritism, just raw comedy.

Interview with Sam Blake: 1/11/2021- "Social media has lost its touch with its roots. Their new business model is to urge users to argue about PC culture...Matter a fact America's new drug is to get political. This has caused the division of families, friends, and the United States. In my opinion there is literally no such thing as social media anymore. We live in LA, we know this is the capital of being a fake "ally" based on what is trending and it's primarily for their personal gain. Reesa will use comedy to bring people together and the beautiful part about us is that my users have my personal promise that I will never censor them. Also, now that I'm here let me make it clear our platform is strictly for comedy and I mean all kinds of comedy... no politics, no negativity, no violence. I am also not afraid to speak my mind and face the truth, something tech CEOs are doing right now. Unification is a joke to people right now,  this country and literally be the only social media platform in the world." - Brian, Founder

BooTube has been doomed since adpocalypse. Many comedians feel trapped and scared to be themselves and lose their hard work. Is it right to always be demonetizing and censoring their creativity? What about being left out for mainstream content? The era of Youtube where it was welcoming, transparent, & fair..are over.
Tiktok hasn't been good since 2009. The majority of us do not want to see a dancing tween every other video. Not to mention we're in a very vulnerable time with China and they own Tiktok. One bad deal and a hostile foreign government will have all your information. We will encrypt and protect your data in the USA.
Built in Los Angeles.
